Theory of a deadman- Wake Up Call review Their new album releases January thirty first or 2020, but for now lets talk about a current album. Theory of a deadman, also known as Theory, or Toad, is a Canadian rock band formed in 2001. They are known for their grunge and hard rock, along with other genres of music such as country and acoustic. They have had eight top ten hits along with three number one hits on the U.S. Billboard. They got their name from their first song and album, where the song was later renamed “the last song”. The Album Wake up call is theory’s eight-th album between the album “Angel” and their -soon to be released- “Say Nothing”. This album has some slightly slower, flowing songs such as “Wake Up Call”, “Loner”, and “PCH”. While this album also songs closer to theory's roots like “Straight Jacket”, “Rx”, “Wicked Game”. Wicked Game Wicked Game is a song about lust, rather than love. The song is him explaining to a woman that she was wrong to “drag him along”. She is very attractive to him and somewhat taunts his imagination of what she is signaling. He realizes its all just her having fun with his heart and he is not happy about it. So he tells her she is playing an evil game. Why you should listen to this album This album is great as it shows the talent of this band. It shows their roots from when they started, partnered with Nickelback. As it also showes their own style and capabilities, somewhat softer, with some slower songs with more meaning than just hard rock. they show som variety that keeps the album value and a form of freshness.
